THE INSIDE OUT: SYNOPSIS
"The Inside Out" is a sci-fi thriller web series about two supernatural fugitives that escape from prison and the FBI agent who is compelled to hunt them down and unravel the mysteries of his past.
In 1992 sixteen scientists were murdered while working on a project code named “The Void.” While there was evidence of the death of the entire team only two of the bodies were found. The Latimer Brothers, formerly of Glasgow Institute of Technology, were convicted of the massacre and sentenced to life in Sellis County Maximum Security Prison.
Among the victims were Anthony Fuller Ph.D.. and wife Deborah Fuller Ph.D.., who were survived by there fifteen year old son, David Fuller (Dutch). Dutch went on to graduate from Virginia Tech with a degree in criminal psychology and subsequently became a field agent for the F.B.I..
Seventeen years after the massacre, a violent surge of radiation ripped through the east wing of the General Population Facility in Sellis prison leaving the inmates burned and contaminated. Upon investigation it was discovered the Latimer Brothers had escaped by inexplicable means. It was also discovered they brought with them Malcolm Dodge, a lifer with borderline tendencies and a propensity toward violence.
Under normal circumstances the manhunt for the Latimer Brothers would have fallen under Dutch Fuller’s jurisdiction. Because of the personal connection to the escapees, however, he is legally restricted from pursuing them. But when bodies are found in the wake of the fugitives and certain people begin to disappear, Dutch begins to recognize a pattern of phenomena that occurred just before the mass murder of his own parents.
In 1983 Anthony and Deborah Fuller published an essay named “The Storm” expositing the relationship between dark matter and the elusive eleventh dimension illustrated by string theory. It circulated with a mix of harsh skepticism and bold new exploration. It sparked a small movement among physicists and engineers, and attracted the attention of such fringe zealots as the Latimer Brothers, as well as certain special interest investors named the Iktomi Corporation. The theory promised to unlock the discrepancies between relativity and quantum mechanics, but was promptly laid to rest with the Fullers’ scandalous demise. It was dismissed as pop physics and relegated to obscure cultist proportions.
Dutch Fuller’s childhood was white-washed with near-religious fervor for the developments made in the Iktomi Corporation. It was often said they were going to turn the world inside out. It was this precise fanaticism that Dutch spent most of his adult life trying to put behind him. However, when his own son, Jonah, disappears shortly after the Latimer Brothers escape, he finds himself caught up in a hunt for the answers that will unravel all of the secrets of “The Storm.”
Dutch discovers the Latimer brothers have set in motion a course of action that will cause an even greater massacre.
